Metro Safety Info graphic

With the new silver line opening, my marketing class was asked to create some advertising for metro safety. And in computer graphics, we were starting a unit on info graphics. So I decided to hit two birds with one stone and combine the project.

Info graphics are normally seen as long pictures, with distinctive style of design. Their purpose is to make learning easier by depicting things with pictures. Like graphs and pie charts for example. Or how much foam is in a latte compared to an expresso, etc.

I wanted a lot of information in this presentation, so I created a video and posted it on youtube. This video was designed for a person that had never ridden the metro before and has some good tips for how to "survive" on the metro. I also created a flyer (left) to go along with the video. The QR code takes you to the video on youtube (below). Enjoy.
